Need help! How do I remove the front seat head restraint? 850

The seat cover fits OK, not custom but fine for my purposes. I still need to figure out where to hook the straps under the seat. My driver side leather seat is showing its age with some drying and cracking, and this seemed like an affordable alternative to reupholstering the seat. The car is an 850 wagon n/a with over 150k miles.
Regarding the side airbags, this is not an issue in the 94 as it doesn't have them. I'm not sure what year the side airbags were added, anybody know?
