Excellent info. Was considering doing this myself this spring, not so sure now but may warrant another look.
You mentioned that you have finally quieted down your drilled brakes. What kind of rotors and pads are you using and how did you quiet them down. I have read alot of posts to people complaining about how loud their vented brakes are (sounding like weed wackers). Have always wanted to try them out but don't want months of headaches and regrets.
