Does it seem to be running cool? V70-XC70 1998

Thank you for the reply.
I know that the car is running fine and seems to be normal. I have noticed that the heat guage does seem to stick in the cool area for a long time then jump up to read the actual temp. We also have noticed that the fans will run after the car is shut off . But, a I think that is normal. However, after the guage and fans I would perodically check the engine and it seemed to be running cool. I may have something as simple as another sensor bad .
Could sombody tell where it is?
