Did you get any error codes or flashing lights on your dash (up arrow and Winter Sport Economy switch). My car is not starting right now after sitting in the driveway for about 10 days. I can hear the fuel pump, and the engine turns over just fine. I have 2 of the same car (1994 850 T5's). If it is not too difficult i may try swapping the ignition coil assemblies as you have suggested.
Did it take long to do this?
