Horn 850 1993

Where should I check first to see why my horn dosen't function, this is one of the kinks I am trying to work out in my new purchase of my '93 850. I've checked the fuses, what next, the wires, or could it be the actual horn itself. Any ideas, anyone heard of this, anything would be helpful.
