If it's a 95 or later, save the money and go to any Autozone to hook up their OBD-II downloader and give you an analysis of the message....FREE!!!! These system read-outS were mandatory after '96 but Volvo started putting their capabilities into earlier models to get their ball rolling.....My '95 turbo Wagon's got one and it reads out most of the ignition and emissions stuff......Colt
