Flashing LEDs S40-V40

A flashing LED indicates that a fault within the climate control system has been detected. sorry , can't tell you what is wrong. only the good old Volvo dealer can tell you that. (it has to be hooked up to Vadis cart for diagnostic code retrieval.)
