Thanks for the response.

I checked at the Road and Track site to see what was available regarding cornering issues you mentioned. Couldn't find anything or maybe I missed it. But I will say that they commented about the poor OEM tires that come on the car. That was the first thing that made a dramatic improvement for me (as noted prior). I've pretty well deteremined that I'll go with IPD's rear swaybar after some research and discussion with them (very helpful people there too!). They indicated that their newly redesigned rear swaybar doesn't require replacing the front one. I figure if it isn't enough for me, I can always buy the front one as well. There was a recent issue of Canadian Driver that gave a good article on a V40 concept wagon. You might enjoy reading it and it was the primary reason I've focused on IPD....anyway you can go here to look at it:

http://www.canadiandriver.com/news/020403-4.htm

I should restate my issue though. Perhaps I used the wrong term earlier....what I'm trying to improve is the roll in the rear or the sense of a lack of control. With the front strut in place things really improved up front. But I don't really want to mess up the rear cargo area with a strut brace back there, so I'm looking to get the impoved handling with a stiffer swaybar adaption.

As far as your Sub.....I have to first say that I'm not a fan of lowering cars. My primary reason is it drives me crazy to have some portion of the car drag when going in and out of drive ways....and there isn't a guy out there that can truthfully say that he doesn't adjust his "turn in" for driveways and probably hold his breath as well when he does. You didn't indicate if you had tried anything with the OEM tires or wheels. That would be the first place I start. I have to also say that I don't think I've seen any lowerd WRX's....but that doesn't mean there aren't any. I could very well be that because of their stock height and reduced height of 1/2 to 1 inches might not create that kind of problem. I would imagine there is a WRX owners site somewhere that would give you more insight into that issue.

Good luck.

P.S. You might want to improve your wifes ride too!!!!!
