Heater Failure 850 1995

I'd second the failed thermostat idea.

If your temp gauge never reaches the 1/2 way mark, that's your problem. (Then thank your lucky stars that it failed open, if it fails closed you have heat but also have a more serious problem!)

There is also a possibility of the actuator arm for "recirc" damper either breaking or working off the pivot.

The 850 heater cores do not tend to become obstructed. They MAY leak, in which case you'd have antifreeze leaking into your carpeting and sticky gunk on the inside of the windshield, but a "no heat' condition shouldn't be the symptom.
