The unit plugs right into the back of your existing radio with some really simple connections to the antenna. While you are back there you might want to use the wiring to the stereo to power it. (it's a pretty simple splicing job, 3 wires, ground, +12V constant, and +12V switched.) You can get power for it anywhere, though, as those three wires are quite common about the vehicle. Under the front seat will be the easiest place as there are already a few holes in the carpet to run for the amp's that mount under there. then you run the wires right up the center console on the passenger side, not hard at all. If you're going to the trunk it's a bit more of a pain.
