I replaced mine several years ago with the OEM (Volvo) windshield in Mass. It was $400. Insurance paid half and I paid the rest. If the windshield is not OEM, insurance would pay full.

It is not a good idea to reuse the windshield from a wrecked car. It is because the use glass will break when taken out from the wrecked car. I saw the tech took out the old glass from my car very carefully but still cracked the glass.
