Winter Handling S70

I would just get some snows for your S70 like Nokians or Gislaveds- you'll be better prepared than most of your classmates. If you get stuck while driving with a set of snows, school will most likely be canceled anyway and you really shouldn't be on the roads. You don't need the added cost and complexity on a student's budget of the AWD system, in my opinion. I live in upstate NY and my S70 with snows works great. TRACS or STC would be nice to have but its not worth trading the car over, again in my opinion.
