I feel for you. My fuel pump went out last month, the indy-shop charged me $600 to replace it. It would have been more since they tried to claim my fuel pump relay was bad (possibly the cause of my fuel pump failure?), but I had already replaced the relay trying to troubleshoot my problem. My '94 turbo had 139k miles on it.
