Hi Delic,

As ktrendel says it sounds like that the t-stat has gone awhol. I would change the t-stat sensor while you are at it if they are both original. Flush your coolant system if you are going to do the job properally, if not drain about a pint or two so that no coolant is the expansion tank to make the job easy to do.
