Haynes has a good description. You may also want to check the archives. I'll give it a shot to give you a general idea but I may have missed some steps. I did this 2 1/2 years ago. There is a drain plug to drain out what's in the pan. Refill with two quarts and then disconnect the upper trans cooler line. Hook a clear plastic hose (1/2" diameter, I think) and put in a pail. Start engine and transmission fluid will be pumped through the hose in the pan. Watch clear hose and shut down when you see air bubbles. Re-fill with 2 qts and repeat. Continue until fluid runs clean. This method changes most of the fluid except what's in the trans cooler. Have a spare trans line clip as they break- mine did.
