EH! FELLOW CANUKS S70 1998

G'day eh? I assume you have a NA V70 and not a Turbo? I have the T5 and change the oil at 5,000 / 6,000 KM intervals. I am using a pure synthetic, what ever brand the shop I take my car to uses. I'm more concerned about the quality of the fileter (Volvo OEM) than the oil. Unless you are going to be stressing your oil beyond its operational temperatures on a regular basis... synthetic is synthetic, from what I've been told. So no need to pony up big $$$ for the most expensive oil and the change you save will get ya' a Timmies Double Double and a Box of Timbits for the kids. I don't even know if the NA's even benfit from a synthetic oil as it is mostly for the turbos.

Good luck with the "Great Saskatchewan Seal Hunt" ya Hoser!
