Timing belt replacement. 850 1993

When changing you timing belt, be sure to pay close attention to the idler pulley. The idler pullet froze up on my 93 940 causing the belt to run off of the pulleys. Luckily the 940 egnine is designed where there was no collision between the pistons and valves if the belt comes off. However the 850 engine will be severely damaged if the belt comes off! Good luck!
