Manually setting antenna position C70 2003

Well - I just received my Antenna Down Switch as descirbed in earlier posts and installed it tonight. The color and style is perfect for a 2003 and the installation was very easy (all parts and instructions inculded and no more than 20 minutes!) The plug matched exactly for the 2003 Dolby Pro Logic Surrond System for those who bought the option.

I am completely surprised that Volvo did not include this as a standard item. They talk about a car wash as the reason to buy - but what about those who live in the north and don't want the antenna sticking out during a blizzard? Thus freezing and not going down correctly - only to listen to the CD player or Changer (another owner install option).

So there you have it - buy the kit and enjoy!!! E-mail me with any questions - I would be happy to answer. Also check out the web pages explaining how to install - good idea about the towel over the shifter to eliminate scratches!!
