You should probably look at grand touring radials. If you go slightly oversize maybe 205 60 R15 you will have an incredibly smooth ride. Speedo might be off slightly, but not by much. Micheline M1's or Bridgestone Turanza LST's are high end touring radials. that's what wwe have on our bricks. I got rid of my aluminum rims and now swap tires winter to summer on the winter steel rims. The low profile tires made my 960 feel like a shopping cart.
