Thanks for the pointer. I actually did look at tirerack.com and saw the general less than positive ratings on the MXV4s. After reading the mostly positive results on Yokohama AVID V4s and Continental ContiExtremeContact (including some owners who claim these were significant upgrades to the OEM MXV4s) I wonder if these are better for me even if they are so much cheaper than the MXV4s.

I also wonder if the opinions on tirerack might be naturally biased by new tire compared against nearly worn out ones.
