Brad,
Torque steer is the price you pay for high perfomance FWDs in any make/model. Some manufacturers have done a better job then others in controlling the "problem", Volvo's are OK, but Torque steer becomes a real problem with more powerfull cars. Saab for example was known for having some of the worst Torque Steer in the business on their fastest Turbo model. There really isn't much you can do about it, except Hang On!!
