Kev,

I've looked it up. code 243 means "Throttle position sensor voltage is out of range". What that means I don't know. Maybe you should post a new thread regarding this. I'm sure there will be more experienced persons to offer help on this. I don't think it should be big in terms of cost. However, it might affect the throttle response and fuel consumption. Try searching the archives on throttle position sensor.
