Micke,

Welcome, the Ozbrick website has the explanations of the A1 diagnostic codes. It says "it exceeded its allocated data transfer" so I couldn't look it up. If I don't forget I can have a look at it in the haynes manual and write you back. However, as far as I remember, the PNP switch code was 232. It is correct that the PNP acts up in damp weather, but as I said its code maybe 232. Hope this helps.
