How soon did you start the car after spraying the engine?

Check that your distributer cap didnt crack. That happened to me a long time ago with a chrysler. Ran rough from the contacts arching inside the cap.
Part was cheap but it took awhile to figure that one out. (since the crack was hard to see)
Now if if ever clean the engine, I put plastic bags the electronics and then I dont start the car for several hours.
