Stereo Replacement Size? 850 1994

I am considering replacing my SC-810 with a new stereo system. My question, the opening for the unit is it a standard "Chassis Size Code DD"? This chassis size is listed as a double din. If not, is there a standard size or will I have to use a dash installation kit to adapt a new stereo. Thank for your consideration.
