Dash LED/ Alarm light 850 1997

Had same problem with light on my 850GLT.
Stuck a small piece of double sided carpet tape on bottom and part of side of light assembly. Pushed assembly back into dash cut-out. It was still firmly in place when I sold car 2 years later.
I believe replacing light would require you to remove dash top, not an easy job.
