I can only tell you what does not fit in the rear deck. My 1994 850 sedan had factory rear speakers which mounted a good portion of the speaker housing above the deck. Neither the hole in the deck, nor the factory shell which mounted the original speakers were suitable for 6 x 9's. I ended up fabricating a plate to mount 5 x 7's inside the original factory speaker shells (as the original mounting holes did not suit any I found in the aftremarket). This let me keep the factory original mounting holes in the metal shelf of the rear deck, as well as factory appearance. Although the results were quite good, it was a good deal of work. I expect that others will be able to tell you of something that drops in somehow. Sorry, no experience at all with front or rear door speakers.
