Thanks, good post. I'll probably have it flushed at like a jiffy lube or something, then take it in to a volvo guy to have it purged (if possible) then refilled.

I actually had the lubrication thing be an issue with a 1980 ford fiesta (my first car - loved that lil pos). I put synth oil in it, which cleans much better than dino juice.

Knocking in 200 miles. Flushed, then flushed again, and clean till it finally blew up at 80K (which is decent for those cars - esp when abused).
