how fresh was the 3 gallons you put in? S70 1998

if that was old fuel (say left over from last summer and the lawn mower)

it could be crappy fuel.

Fill it up with good name brand gas and a detergent and run it a while. You can change the fuel filter fairly easily too (Bay 13 has instructions, and i think IPD has 'em up too)
