you need to look in your warranty book, in some states its 7 yrs 70,000 and some 8 and 80,000, i think california and massachussets are the 2 longer mileage warranty states. a dealer will have to do the work because the contoller is probably bad and they come unprogrammed and will need to be connected to a vadis machine to program the unit.
