I had the same question. I went to Sandberg Volvo and found that the upper mounts will crack in the top and bottom area, in the sides there are some intentional cracks or thin rubber areas, not a concern. The parts department sells the aluminum mount and the bushing pressed in. Its about $70. While there i also saw at the dealer just the bushing in a plastic package. I guess the dealer gets the bushing and presses it in but the parts dept. sells the whole thing. This results in extra metal everytime you change it. It might be cheaper or easier dont know.
