To Flush or Not to Flush 850 1993

Specific for automatic models.

Fortunately ATF flush is easy to do. The cost is the cost of about 12-15 quarts of ATF, so not very expensive. Really Volvo do not recommend specifically an ATF change under normal conditions. It's a security measure.

I would do it. My volvo is a second hand car and I dont know its records and its use in the past, so it would be a good reason to do an ATF flush.

A/A evaporator is a very common failure. Worry about it when it fails (loss of coolant without leakness evidence).
