Cargo Boxes on Wagons?

M..
I have a Yakima LoadRanger 20 on my wife's '96 855 wagon.. it's attached to the Eurorails with a pair of beefy Thule load bars and works great.. At 20 cu ft, you should be able to get it all in.. notice the dimensions on this link..

http://www.rei.com/online/store/ProductDisplay?productId=13208062&storeId=8000&catalogId=40000008000&langId=-1

The box on the car is placed so that the rear hatch will open fully and not the touch the rear of the box.. it goes forward to about 2 inches shy of the windshield.. obscures about 2/3 of the sunroof for what it's worth.. very little wind noise with the box on the car.. if the sunroof shade is closed, it's indetectable.. with the box off and just the bars on the car, there appears to be more noise from the forward bars for some reason.. The Thule boxes depending on which one are up to 5 inches longer @ 92 inches..
