Trip computer switch? V70-XC70 1998

Hello All,

I have a 1998 V70 AWD without the trip computer functions. Can I add a switch and have my Volvo tech load the necessary software to have the full trip functions? In other words, what's involved in having the trip computer functional in my car? Thanks. Rick
