Volvos VIP will only pay a dealership to do warranty work at warranty rates and prices to my knowledge. I have yet to hear of an indy doing warranty work and why should they? They'ld get less money that they normally would when it's customer pay w/o hassles. If you take your car to them anyway, if they do anything they'd probably just drive the car to a dealer as they'll have nothing to gain by trying to do warranty work (not to exclude the paper, phone related hassles).
