No, No No! The glove box door is EXPENSIVE! Only if you're a Volvo dealer do you want to destroy the door! (Then you get to charge for not just the latch and the brace but everything else, too!)

This is an EXTREMELY common problem with the 850-70, two (of many) threads about fixing it in the Brickboard Archives, along with the parts numbers that you'll need....
