Hi Dan,

I searched for the error you mentioned and you can check this:

It talks about “Faulty RPM sensor, wiring or incorrect installation”. I do not know if you have fried the RPM sensor with this accident.

I think your diagnostic unit (maybe Motronic 4.3) is different than mine.
