Jim, just put a full set of EBC's on my 98 V70 along with cross drilled rotors found the same things you did, much better brake feel a little more noise than before but that is because of the crossdrilled not the pads. Even though these pads have not gone through their brake in period I find them much much better than the stock pads. My question to you is have you found any above average rotor wear with the EBC's.
