...........to then get the balljoint removed (bolt removed), one needs to take a large chisel and pound on the outer part of the "tabs" that clasp the balljoint socket in place, not too much but a little helps.
NOW, with that done and the 2 subframe bolts removed, inner part of control arm hanging, take a large hammer (mini-sledge hammer) and smack the control arm downwords as close to the balljoint as possible (will take a few blows normally) and then it'll just fall out. It's not really all that hard to do.
The new one will then just tap in, no brute force required.
