TRACS Light only- after new unit; Can Victor solve all problems with unit!! 850

Guys- I purchased a used ABS control(from a 97) unit and it worked fine(2-3 months) until recently. The TRACS lights would come on(as if I had turned it off).[Note: before both tracs/abs lights would come on]. I press the tracs button to see if it will change & nothing. The lights stays off if I turn car off and restart. Then it works fine for a few days and repeats problem!! Obviously, these ABS/TRACS module are P.O.S, so my question is: does Victor's repair cures all issues or can I expect it to fail again?? Personally, I can live without either feature since I have upgraded braking, but those lights drive me crazy. Just sick & tired of this problem!!! Thanks all, D
