1998 S70 - Bad year? S70

My 98 S70 T5M had some initial problems. But, it has not seen
a mechanic after the first 18 months (other then maintenance).
Once the initial problems are sorted out it will probably be as
reliable as any other 850/70 series. Thats not to say it won't
have problems -- it eventually will (as do all things mechanical)
but I'd say no worse then any other modern Volvo. I'd buy another.

I do maintian mine by the book, garage it and live in an area
with moderate climate (which all help).
