Remember what tranny fluid is for... 850 1994

There is no reason why a fluid change should cause the tranny to fail...it was going to fail anyway if that was the case. The fluid is there to protect from wear, if it gets burnt and dirty, then it can't do its job. Just did mine with 105K on it and switched to synthetic...it was done 25K ago for the first time and looked like chocolate water...shifts smoother now.
