If your dealer is kind you can expect a tube of K-Y jelly first...

Seriously, in this car market you shouldn't do a trade in unless you just don't have the time to sell the car yourself. In this market S80s are moving for thousands off book value RETAIL (check autotrader.com) and if you plan to trade it in with a dealer you will get a price thousands under what people are getting retail.

Believe me, I know. My 1999 S80 T6 is up for sale and the used car values for luxury cars (not just Volvos) are horrible in this market (what do you expect when new cars are starting at thousands off MSRP BEFORE negotiating.)
