Shock/strut life for S70 S70

Although there were no noticable symptoms, I just had two rear shock bumper stops replaced on my 98 S70. Apparently, they had simply fallen off of the car! My car has 76K on it and the shocks are still going strong. By the way, I have a 91 740 with 200K on it and it still has the original shocks...no bounce or problems believe it or not. Hope this helps.
