Sounds like a loose wire for the fan if it is intermittant. Check the ecc codes and start there.I just replaced the fan power stage on my daughters car. Oil Leak? I have also replaced the rear main seal on her car. Make sure the flame trap is clean. I haven't had trouble with the sun roof yet but when you fix it, Let us know what you did. Go to the web site volvospeed bay 13 they have some info on the flame trap and how to get at the fan wires/sensors.(1993850glt)
