Strut question S70 1998

I had a similar experience and had my struts and strut mounts replaced at 70K. I was surprised to find that the struts were bad at 70K miles, but I am convinced they were. The problem is vastly improved, but when the wheel is cut hard in either direction the suspension still groans, but the balance of the noise (and it was considerable) is gone. Best of luck. It cost about $500 for good quality struts and labor, but it was not done at a Volvo Dealer.
