how about this mileage? 850 1993

Getting high-20's on mostly highway miles is very reasonable. I wouldn't question it, though the others posters are right about some errors in single-tank calculations.

Of more importance might be factors like your speed, wind conditions, road surface etc. If you were driving 55mph with a 20mph tailwind on brand new smooth asphalt, I would believe even higher mpg!
