It may just need tightening, or it may be more involved than that.

Regardless, have someone look at it now.

In any number of scenarios, you could be rapidly wearing out a belt, causing imminent belt failure. If you don't mind risking that failure on the interstate on your way home, 30 miles from the nearest exit, in the heat of summer, then go ahead and wait 'till you get home.
