I have seen a turbo 850 fitted with a nitrous kit (looked professional) but I didn't drive it with the system operational as I had no need to do that (was in for minor repairs).
With a turbo engine, it's already got higher than normal combustion chamber PSI and adding nitrous could be too much if not done just right (by someone very experienced in installing nitrous systems to turbo/supercharged engines).
I have a 125 HP NOS kit (yes, made by NOS) on a carbed NA 400HP V8 engine (over 500HP with nitrous on) and although it's fun, the stuff does scare me because one is seriously pushing the limits of the engine and I don't use it often, just for occasional fun. I'd prefer to install a supercharger to that engine instead BUT that's about $3K and alot of added hassles.
The stuff isn't exactly cheap to use either. A 10 lb bottle costs me $47 to fill and can be used up quickly so it's very costly HP really.
If you want it added, have it done by someone that does that often (a speedshop or?) as if not done right and you use too much nitrous, you will blow the engine. Don't just buy a universal kit and try adding that yourself. You also won't need a different intercooler, just the right kit installed correctly.
The "ricers" who use it too much eventually damage their engines, as do guys who use it for drag racing. I see many of those "ricers" now blowing smoke from too much abuse so be aware that it's not a good thing for any engine.
