Bevel Gear Info Needed...simple V70-XC70

The #1 reason people ruin bevel gears is because they fail to read and adhere to the owners manual. The car MUST have 4 perfectly identical tires at all times. If one has a blow out and replaces just one or two tires, leaving 3-4 older, worn tires with different radial run-out, the bevel gear goes. The same hold true with the supplied space saver spare. It can only be used VERY briefly, low speeds and a short distance otherwise THAT too will destroy the bevel gear. I've met a couple customers who've done that, they weren't exactly happy either.
Personally, I wouldn't buy a car like that. The 2WDs aren't bad in comparison.
